Weighing scales

In the knives and scales department, there are naturally knives with a folding blade, with a fixed blade, daggers and spears and, of course, hunting scales. At the end of a hunt, weighing the harvested game is a territorial management necessity to estimate the animal's age or health. Weighing game using a dynamometric, digital or electronic scale is also a convivial moment among hunters before moving on to dressing or to the cutting up of the wild boar, deer or roe deer. When choosing his hunting scale, the hunter must consider the weighing capacity of each scale and adapt it to the intended use. When in doubt, it's better to opt for the largest weighing range, which will spare hunters from having to own several hunting scales depending on the game hunted. Indeed, for example, the dynamometric scale is a device made up of a spring whose extension is measured using a sliding ruler that moves along a graduated scale, so it is easy to understand that it should be used in appropriate circumstances.
