The AGM Taipan V2 series of thermal monoculars is the latest addition to the world’s most comprehensive thermal product range! The TaipanV2 series offers several objective lens sizes paired with a state-of-the-art 256 °C thermal detector, 12 micron and under 35 mK. The TaipanV2 also brings many improvements long awaited by users of the original Taipan monoculars. Key among these improvements is the replacement of a non-removable internal rechargeable battery with a single removable rechargeable 18650 battery, as well as a new 90-degree tilt sensor that turns off the display to save battery! The TaipanV2 also benefits from numerous software enhancements and many features that have become standard in the AGM thermal product line: f/1.0 optical aperture, 50 Hz refresh rate, 16 GB of built-in memory, Wi-Fi compatibility with the AGM Connect app, IP67 rating, USB Type-C port for external power and 4 color palettes. They also use a wider rubber eyecup for extremely comfortable viewing of the LCOS 1280 screen in the field, even during long observation periods. The TaipanV2 are designed for versatile use and are perfectly suited to hunting, agriculture/livestock protection, law enforcement, search and rescue, boating, camping and other outdoor activities. Of course, all TaipanV2 models benefit from AGM’s transferable 5-year warranty.
