The AGM Taipan V2 thermal monocular series is the latest addition to the world's most comprehensive thermal product range! The Taipan V2 series offers several objective lens sizes paired with a cutting-edge 384-pixel, 12-micron thermal detector with under 20 mK. The Taipan V2 also brings many innovations long-awaited by users of the original Taipan monoculars. Among
these main improvements are the replacement of a non-removable internal rechargeable battery with a single removable rechargeable 18650 battery, a new thermal sensor with under 20 mK, and a new 90-degree tilt sensor that switches off the display to save battery! The TaipanV2 also benefits from numerous software improvements and many features that have become standard in AGM's thermal product line: an F1.0 optical aperture, a 50 Hz refresh rate, 16 GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi compatibility with the AGM Connect app, an IP67 waterproof rating, a USB Type-C port for external power, and 4 colour palettes. The wider rubber eyecup provides optimal viewing comfort on the 1024 OLED display, even during extended periods.
Designed for versatile use, the TaipanV2 is ideal for hunting, agriculture and livestock protection, law enforcement, search and rescue, boating, camping and other outdoor activities. Of course, all TaipanV2 models come with AGM's 5-year transferable warranty.
