The AGM Taipan V2 series of thermal monoculars is the latest addition to the world's most complete range of thermal products! The TaipanV2 series offers several objective sizes, paired with a state-of-the-art 12-micron thermal detector with 384 resolution, sub-20 mK. The TaipanV2 also brings many improvements long awaited by users of the original Taipan monoculars.
Among the main improvements are the replacement of a non-removable internal rechargeable battery with a single removable rechargeable 18650 battery, a new sub-20 mK thermal sensor and a new 90-degree tilt sensor that turns off the display to save battery! The TaipanV2 also benefits from numerous software enhancements and many features now common in the AGM thermal product line: an optical aperture F1.0, a 50 Hz refresh rate, 16 GB of built-in memory, Wi‑Fi compatibility with the AGM Connect app, an IP67 rating, a USB Type-C port for external power and 4 color palettes. The wider rubber eyecup offers optimal viewing comfort on the 1024 OLED display, even for long periods.
Designed for versatile use, the TaipanV2 is ideal for hunting, agriculture and herd protection, law enforcement, search and rescue, navigation, camping and other outdoor activities. Of course, all TaipanV2 models benefit from AGM's transferable 5-year warranty.
