The KITE stabilized binoculars 10x30 and 12x30 APC bring you the latest technology in binocular image stabilization.

There are other stabilized binoculars on the market, but none of them compare to KITE. The most important difference is the correction angle. Most stabilized binoculars offer a correction angle of 0.5° to 1°, which corresponds to a correction of 0.8 to 1.7 meters at a distance of 100 meters. A hand tremor, a windy day or shortness of breath after a hike will easily cause image instability exceeding these values.

The KITE APC stabilized binoculars feature new technology that allows the instrument to correct image stability by 3° — 5.3 meters at a distance of 100 meters or 53 meters at 1,000 meters. That is 6 times more than other stabilized binoculars. This will provide perfectly stable images not only from a trembling hand, but also aboard a car or a boat.

This very compact and lightweight instrument also features smart functionalities. The electronics are powered by two AA batteries, the most common battery size in the world, and guarantee the instrument's operation for 36 hours. But to avoid wasting a second of those 36 hours, the KITE APC binoculars are equipped with sensors that automatically put the device into standby when you are not observing. The APC function (angle power control) detects positioning. When the instrument is placed vertically, hanging around your neck or standing on a surface, it goes into standby. At the first movement, the stabilization restarts. No button switching, no accidental battery drain. A timer function ensures it turns off completely after 90 minutes, whatever the position. And a low battery indicator will tell you when new batteries are needed.

The stabilized APC is ergonomic thanks to a focus wheel 4 cm long that can be easily used with 3 fingers.

Although the stabilized APC looks different, it is as easy to use as any standard pair of binoculars.

The essence of this instrument, of course, lies in its stabilization capability. Optically, it is on the same performance level as the KITE PETREL. However, in all unstable situations, whether due to trembling, shortness of breath, windy conditions, or onboard a vehicle, etc... These binoculars outperform the best binoculars in the world and you will perceive images and details invisible with any standard binoculars. Try them — you'll see!

The stabilized binoculars are equipped with the KITE APC system (angle power control). Without requiring the on/off switch to be operated, this system puts the electronics to sleep when the binoculars are in any resting position (hung around the neck), and reactivates automatically when you resume observing. This results in remarkable battery savings and contributes to user comfort.

With its 2 AA batteries, the stabilization mechanism can be active for up to 36 hours.
The APC STABILIZED binoculars are also perfectly usable without activating the stabilization mechanism.
Whatever its position (at rest or active), after 90 minutes the instrument will turn off automatically to save energy.
