As the season progresses, it is normal to wear a
sweater or sweatshirt for hunting. The hunting sweater is the quintessential garment to wear over a t-shirt and under a jacket. A sweater is traditionally made of wool, which will therefore keep you warm, but it will be vulnerable to wind and rain, you will inevitably need a jacket to put on top when the weather conditions deteriorate. You can count on a stand-up collar, but you won't be able to count on a hood like with
hunting sweatshirts, consider a hat in winter. As a sweater can be worn without a jacket, they are available in several colors recognized for hunting in addition to traditional khaki: mainly fluorescent and camo.
