The PRO 550, equipped with Tri-Tronics' proven technology, enables advanced training for conscientious professionals, with easy access to 21 levels of momentary and continuous stimulation and tone, as well as the ability to quickly switch between three dogs¹. The PRO 550 offers vibration and tone, plus LED indicators on the dog unit that operate remotely to better locate the animal in low-light conditions. You can also add a Upland™ Beeper (sold separately) and the integrated BarkLimiter device, activated on the dog unit, to make your home a peaceful place.

Classic, rugged design
The PRO 550 is built on a proven tube-shaped design, beloved by trainers. Offering simple operation (and control), it can be used with one hand so you never take your eyes off your dog, even when you switch between stimulation levels and different animals. The stimulation/vibration level selector dial is located on the top of the transmitter for the most intuitive operation. Tone, LED indicators and the beeper are controlled using the switch and buttons on the front face of the unit. Additionally, the control buttons are easily accessible for fingertip control. A fixed 6 cm antenna prevents loss or damage and provides a maximum range of 1,5 km.

Train your pet with stimulation and tone

Choose from 21 levels of continuous and momentary stimulation, tone and vibration for up to 3 dogs at a time (additional dog units required; sold separately). You can also remotely operate the built-in LED indicators on the dog unit, and an optional beeper (sold separately), to better locate your animal in low-light conditions.

Integrated BarkLimiter
The PRO 550 contains the integrated BarkLimiter device, activated by the dog unit. The BarkLimiter features Automatic Increase technology, an automatic anti-bark correction mode that adjusts to the desired optimal level.

Rugged, waterproof and durable
Both the transmitter and the dog collar unit are designed to withstand the bumps, knocks and shocks typically generated by training or hunting activities. The dog unit comes with insulated stainless steel contact points, removable in two different sizes, for reliable performance in wet conditions and increased comfort for the animal. The dog unit is water-resistant to 1 ATM (10 meters).

As for the PRO 550 transmitter, it is water-resistant to IPX7. Both the transmitter and the dog unit are equipped with a durable, rechargeable lithium-ion battery. A charge indicator on the transmitter and the dog unit lets you know when you need to recharge the battery.

Pairing a collar
The color-coded dog selection switch on the PRO 550 handheld unit lets you know which dog is receiving the anti-bark correction. Match the color of the dog collar to the color of the selection switch to determine which animal receives the stimulation or tone. Optional 2 cm polyurethane-coated collars are sold separately.
