The ThermTec Ventus 650L model represents the absolute flagship of the multispectral ultra-long range observation range. Designed for surveillance professionals, hunting guides and wildlife enthusiasts, these high-end binoculars integrate five major technologies into a hardened 833 g housing. They combine a powerful 50 mm thermal objective, a very high-definition day and night digital optical module, a precise laser rangefinder up to 1000 meters and a dual-wavelength infrared illuminator. Thanks to its large 1600×1200 AMOLED display, you benefit from surgical identification clarity in the darkest conditions.

The main strength of the Ventus 650L lies in its long-range thermal channel: the combination of a 640×512 pixel sensor with extreme thermal sensitivity (NETD < 15 mK) and a 50 mm F1.0 lens provides a base magnification of 3,7X and pushes detection range to a spectacular 2600 meters. For final identification, its 3536×3536 pixel optical sensor takes over, supported by a switchable IR flash on the fly (850 nm for a 400 m range or 940 nm for total invisibility at 350 m), guaranteeing formidable performance over large open areas.

ADVANCED SAFETY AND REVIEW FEATURES :
The ThermTec Ventus 650L includes the overlay PiP (Picture-in-Picture) mode to zoom into a specific detail while keeping an eye on the overall scene, as well as pre-configured image modes ("Forest" and "Rainy") optimizing the thermal sensor's performance according to weather conditions. To protect the thermal sensor, the system incorporates a burn prevention function against accidental exposure to excessive heat sources. The field album also allows immediate playback of all your photos and videos with sound directly from the device.

Expert tip : Compared to the 635L model, the Ventus 650L version sacrifices a bit of short-range field of view to offer a higher base optical magnification (3,7X) and a stratospheric thermal detection capability pushed to 2,6 kilometers. It is the supreme tool for observation on plains, in desert environments, along the coast or in high mountains. Its power supply by dual standard interchangeable 18650 batteries allows you to work without time limits by simply carrying a few spare cells in your pockets.
