This lightweight material is created using a sophisticated molding process called thixotropic casting: a material that offers all the strength benefits of metal while remaining light. By using a 100% magnesium alloy structure, the TSN 99 Prominar is one of the most compact and lightest in its class of large-objective spotting scopes, making it easier to carry than many other models.
