The Steel Tiger is a modern, tactical interpretation of the traditional Indonesian knife, designed in collaboration by the renowned designers Steven Likarich and Lynn C. Thompson. Its curved blade of 121 mm is forged from Japanese stainless steel AUS-8, offering a fearsome edge and excellent corrosion resistance. This Karambit stands out with its tiger-claw profile, optimized for circular cuts and powerful pulls. The entire blade receives a sober, functional grey finish. The hybrid handle combines the rigid structure of Griv-Ex™ with a non-slip Kray-Ex™ overmold, ensuring absolute grip even in the most extreme conditions.

The Secure-Ex® Kydex-type sheath allows secure carry on a belt or on tactical gear, offering firm mechanical retention that protects the blade's specific curve while remaining instantly accessible for instinctive deployment.

The Steel Tiger is a specialized defensive tool that requires some practice to fully exploit its ergonomic potential. AUS-8 steel is ideal for this type of profile because it allows keeping a very sharp point while facilitating re-sharpening on a round stone or a ceramic rod. We recommend practicing passing the index finger through the safety ring to smooth grip transitions. For handle maintenance, the Griv-Ex/Kray-Ex mixture cleans easily with soapy water to preserve its exceptional "grip" properties year after year.
