ursus is the entry-level « roof prism » professional model at kite optics. it is a versatile, easy-to-use pair of binoculars designed for everyday use and backed by a 30-year warranty. the optical system benefits from the kite mhr coating. a coating system providing full coverage across the entire surface of the lenses, as well as a highly reflective coating on the prisms. this results in excellent color balance rendering a clear, sharp image with excellent image acuity.

the kite ursus are fully waterproof thanks to the nitrogen they contain, thus eliminating any risk of internal condensation. its chassis is fully covered with a sturdy rubber armour that gives the instrument optimal protection against shocks and jolts.

comfort design
the "soft-touch" rubber armour is designed to offer maximum grip for a better hold. the instrument is ultra-light and well balanced, making it very comfortable to use and to carry with you all day. its short-hinge design allows your fingers to wrap around the chassis and to use the instrument with one hand.

durable eyecups
removable metal eyecups with 4 adjustment stages, rubber-coated for improved comfort.

focus wheel
