Made from water-repellent, high-tenacity synthetic fabrics, the bell cover isolates the metal bell from the animal's skin while protecting the bell itself from heavy impacts against rocks and dense vegetation. Its ultra tear- and thorn-resistant material does not absorb moisture, thus preventing the assembly from becoming heavy or irritating the neck in wet conditions.
