As the season progresses it is normal to wear a
sweater or a sweatshirt when hunting. The hunting sweater is the ideal garment to wear over a t-shirt and under a jacket. A sweater is traditionally made of wool, so it will keep you warm; however it will be vulnerable to wind and rain, and you will inevitably need a jacket to put over it when weather conditions worsen. You can count on a high collar, but you should not count on a hood as with
hunting sweatshirt, remember a beanie in winter. Because a sweater can be worn without a jacket, they are available in several colours recognized for hunting in addition to traditional khaki: mainly fluorescent and camo.
