The Woodcock fleece is the ideal mid-layer for group winter hunts. The Woodcock fleece is cut from a soft microfleece with excellent temperature-regulating properties. Woven with a fairly fine polyester yarn, this microfleece fabric has more small air pockets than traditional polar fleece. These air pockets warm easily on contact with the body, which gives them their great insulating power. They also allow the body to breathe, which lets moisture escape so you stay dry. This fleece jacket has a slightly tapered waist to give it a more fitted cut. The V-neck allows you to wear a shirt underneath. Both the collar and the zip are equipped with a soft fabric guard so as not to irritate the neck.
