IGP / RCI WOODEN RETRIEVING DUMMY - REGULATORY MODEL
The IGP discipline (formerly RCI) requires absolute rigor in the execution of the retrieve, where every phase of the movement is scrutinized by the judges. This solid wood retrieving dummy has been specifically developed to meet international competition standards. Its structure in selected beech wood ensures a homogeneous density, providing a perfect balance during the throw and immediate stability once on the ground, thus avoiding unwanted bounces that could impair the speed at which the dog takes it into its mouth.

The morphology of this training dumbbell is based on wide lateral flanges and a central bar ("mors") with precise dimensions, promoting a firm, calm and centered grip by the dog. This ergonomic design helps prevent "chewing" and ensures a stable hold during the return-to-foot phase and the presentation in front of the handler. Preferred equipment of trainers and competitors, this retrieving dummy combines mechanical durability and respect for the animal's oral integrity for high-precision training.
