The orange RapidStop® Tourniquet is a very fast tourniquet that is easy to apply with one hand. Usable from age 8, it allows the strap to be tightened effortlessly thanks to its robust and intuitive ratchet which doubles the force. The minimum tightening pressure of 50mm/HG is reached if the strap is properly tightened with 2 or 3 actions on the ratchet. For the wearer and for responders who are often first on the scene of civilian medical emergencies, this device can be easily carried and deployed to save lives. The RapidStop® is appropriate for controlling hemorrhages in the event of injuries to the arms and legs.
