The PROTECT PROCANO vest was designed to offer a vest model that is ultra-resistant to punctures and abrasion. To that end, the brand Canihunta chose to add an additional layer of ballistic fabric as well as optimal protection for the thighs and shoulders, which makes the PROTECT PROCANO vest the most high-performing vest on the market in terms of protection and puncture resistance.

Composition :
The PROTECT PROCANO vest is made up of 4 layers of anti-puncture fabric of the 100% polyethylene type. Indeed, this ultra-technical fabric is used by a large number of civil and military organizations to manufacture anti-assault garments. The vest has 4 layers on the rear part of the vest (belly) and 3 layers on the front part of the vest (neck), which allows it to retain extreme suppleness and superior maneuverability. This anti-puncture fabric was selected thanks to the numerous puncture tests carried out in the laboratory.

The external covering fabric of the PROTECT PROCANO vest is a CORDURA 1100 DTEX with RISTOP structure; it is virtually tearproof and resistant to the most abrasive and aggressive biotopes, while still providing great mobility for dogs thanks to its extreme suppleness. This fabric is treated with 2 induction layers, which makes the vest water-repellent and almost waterproof. This also helps protect the anti-puncture fabric from moisture and UV. An ultra-resistant sewing thread was selected to limit its deterioration.

The PROTECT PRO vest features a THERMO REGULATING system that helps regulate the temperature of the vest and therefore the dog's. This THERMO REGULATING system also includes a quilted wadding that provides greater comfort for the dog. A third layer protects the whole vest on the side that contacts the dog's skin; this layer is very soft so as not to cause sores on the dogs' skin.

Sizes :
9 different sizes are offered; these sizes are easy to identify since they correspond to chest girth. To determine the correct vest size, simply measure the dog's chest girth. The other dimensions are standardized relative to chest girth because this measurement is the most important; the neck and belly can be adjusted using the Velcro straps.
The chest girth must be measured precisely (flexible tape measure or string) to know the exact dimension; the measurement should not be too tight and should lightly touch the dog's fur.
• Example: A size T65 corresponds to a dog with a chest girth of 65 cm. If your dog measures 62 cm using the method described above, you should choose a T65. The smallest size corresponds to a chest girth of 45 cm, suitable for a dachshund; the following sizes increase by 5 cm steps: T45, T50, T55, T60, T65, T70, T75, T80 and T85. Size T85 corresponds to a dog type such as the Grand Bleu de Gascogne.
