MARKHOR PRO GUIDE PANT MID-SEASON TECHNICAL TROUSERS
For demanding trackers and stalking enthusiasts, choosing the right trousers is crucial to combining absolute discretion with resistance to harsh environments. The Markhor PRO GUIDE PANT mid-season technical trousers were developed to meet these highly specific field requirements. Made from an ultra-flexible 4-way stretch main fabric composed of 93% RE-Nylon and 7% Spandex, they offer complete freedom of movement when negotiating obstacles or during long periods of observation on one's knees. The fabric is exceptionally quiet while walking, preventing telltale rustling that could alert game. To cope with morning dew or sudden showers, these trousers feature a high-performance Markhor DWR water-repellent treatment that prevents water from penetrating the fibres while maintaining excellent breathability during intense physical exertion.

The durability of this equipment is based on uncompromising material choices. The areas exposed to wear, particularly the knees and lower legs, feature ergonomic ultra-durable KVL reinforcements combining 67.4% Nylon, 26.6% Kevlar and 6% Spandex Dobby. This flexible armour effectively protects against brambles, thorns and abrasive rocks without restricting movement. In terms of modularity, the trousers incorporate removable knee pads to protect the joints during long waits on the ground, as well as a pair of removable suspenders complementing a wraparound elasticated waistband for impeccable support. The storage layout is also designed for hunters on the move, with cargo pockets fitted with storm flaps and zipped easy access thigh pockets, perfectly accessible when seated for quickly retrieving equipment or ammunition.

Our experts' advice:

The PRO GUIDE PANT is a genuine field tool for active mid-season stalking or ambush hunts. Its hybrid construction with KVL Kevlar reinforcements makes it a formidable ally for moving through dense undergrowth without fear of tearing. To maximise sound discretion during the final approach, properly adjust the tension of the removable suspenders to prevent the fabric from flapping. If you mainly move across open country or clean terrain, you can remove the integrated knee pads to achieve even greater lightness and flexibility. Finally, be sure to wash at 30 degrees without fabric softener to preserve the water-repellent DWR treatment's hydrophobic properties over time.
