Alpine robustness and German artisanal know-how:
The Meindl Super Perfekt is an iconic mountain boot, designed for demanding alpinists and hikers seeking a traditional, ultra-robust and durable model.
Handmade in Meindl's Bavarian workshops, it embodies the finest full-grain leather and the artisanal expertise passed down through generations.
Main features:
• Upper: thick full-grain leather (3 mm) oiled, cut from a single piece for maximum resistance to abrasion and moisture. • Lining: smooth leather inside for natural comfort, excellent breathability and a progressive fit to the foot's shape. • Insole: genuine leather, replaceable and breathable. • Midsole: rigid midsole providing optimal support on rough terrain and when carrying heavy loads. • Outsole: Vibram® Meindl Multigriff, offering grip, stability and longevity, even on wet rock or hard snow. • Construction: double welt hand-stitched (Norwegian welt) allowing full resoling and ensuring exceptional watertightness. • Weight: approx. 1 100 g per boot (UK size 8). • Crampon compatibility: semi-automatic (rigid heel-piece). • Recommended use: long alpine hikes, via ferrata and mountain expeditions. • Extreme conditions: rock, snow, glacial terrain. Carrying heavy loads or long crossings.
Key strengths:
• Fully leather construction, durable and repairable • Exceptional foot hold and maximum stability • German artisanal manufacturing (Bavaria) • Longevity that can exceed several decades with regular maintenance
Care instructions: Clean after each outing, dry at room temperature and regularly apply a nourishing grease or wax to preserve the suppleness and waterproofing of the leather.
Often described as 'the absolute benchmark of traditional mountain boots', the Meindl Super Perfekt appeals to enthusiasts of authenticity and performance who seek a boot as reliable as it is durable.
