Made from a lightweight, lined fabric, the Härkila Heat jacket features stretch membranes on the sides and on the arms to offer increased freedom of movement. Its lining reflects heat to prevent any loss of body heat and to reinforce the effect of its heating membranes. Its collar is lined with soft fleece. Heating membranes are integrated in the areas of the torso most exposed to the cold, that is between the shoulder blades and the lower back, and a dedicated app allows you to adjust them precisely to the desired temperature, between 30 and 52 °C. A button located on the chest also lets you set the membranes to 38, 46 and 52 °C, so you can regulate your body temperature without relying on your phone.

Unlike previous thermal technologies, these heating membranes are flexible and can be stored with the garment they are integrated into. Furthermore, this jacket can be machine washed without problem. The right pocket of the jacket is equipped with a waterproof USB port allowing you to connect an external battery of the power of your choice. An external battery of 10 000 mAh allows the jacket to provide the maximum temperature of 52 °C for about 7 hours at an outside temperature of 0 °C.

To prolong their usage time, the heating membranes automatically go into standby when the garment has reached the desired temperature. They then switch back on if the body temperature drops one or two degrees below the desired temperature without being noticed. This jacket offers a heat regulation function, turning off automatically when body temperature rises, for example during intense activity, then turning back on when you are at rest. This jacket has two pockets, one inner pocket and a radio pocket on the left side of the chest, and it is supplied with a waterproof pouch to store it.
