• The PENTAX XF eyepieces incorporate high-refractive-index, low-dispersion lanthanum glass elements to deliver high-resolution images with minimal aberrations. They are specifically suited to observation and planetary photography. PENTAX's exclusive SMC multi-coating improves light transmission and delivers unparalleled color quality. Its advanced design, developed by computer simulation, reduces internal reflections and produces brighter, higher-contrast images. Thanks to their JIS Class 4 weatherproof construction, XF eyepieces are more durable and water-resistant.

The PENTAX XF Zoom eyepiece offers a magnification of 20 to 60 times when mounted on PENTAX telescopes of the PF 65 series, an apparent field of view of 42 to 60 degrees and an eye relief of 11mm to 15mm. It is designed for use on PENTAX spotting scopes and on astronomical telescopes equipped with 1¼” focusers.
