• PENTAX XF eyepieces incorporate high-refractive-index, low-dispersion lanthanum glass elements to produce high-resolution images with minimal aberrations. They are specifically suited for planetary observation and photography. PENTAX's exclusive SMC multi-coating enhances light transmission and delivers unparalleled color quality. Their advanced computer-simulated design reduces internal reflections and produces brighter, higher-contrast images. Thanks to their weatherproof JIS Class 4 construction, XF eyepieces are more durable and water-resistant.

With a focal length of 8,5 mm, the high-performance PENTAX XF 8.5 eyepiece is ideal for outdoor and birdwatching observation. It is also recommended for use with astronomical telescopes equipped with a 1¼” (31,7 mm) focuser. Its fixed focal length offers a 60° apparent field of view, long eye relief, and bright, very high-contrast images.

The removable rotating eyecups reveal an adapter thread (fixed-focal models: 30,5 mm diameter with 0,5 mm pitch; zoom model: 43 mm diameter with 0,75 mm pitch).

Compatible with PF-65, PF-65 ED II, PF-80 and PF-100 spotting scopes.
