The 8x32 Terra ED Zeiss binoculars combine SCHOTT ED glass with a compact, waterproof housing to create a versatile optic that delivers image quality and a streamlined profile worthy of the Carl Zeiss name.

The Terra ED is the third binocular line to expand the catalogue of the Wetzlar optics manufacturer. They complement a range that already includes the popular Conquest and the legendary Victory. The engineers at Carl Zeiss Sport Optics designed the Terra ED for birdwatchers and hunters who are looking for affordable equipment while retaining the qualities of a Zeiss optic.

The SCHOTT ED lenses are designed to maximize light transmission and render a richly contrasted image. Thanks to the adoption of Schmidt-Pechan roof prisms and a lightweight composite chassis, these binoculars weigh in at 510g. The Terra ED are nitrogen-filled which prevents fogging and makes them waterproof to a depth of about 3 meters.

This model offers an incredible viewing experience thanks to its 8x magnification providing stability and its comfortable 16.5 mm eye relief. The short close focus distance (from 1.6 m) allows you to get very close to the bird or subject being observed. These binoculars also offer excellent ergonomics thanks to their central focus wheel and twist-up eyecups, arguably making the Terra ED the best mid-range binocular on the market.
