The 10x42 Terra ED Zeiss binoculars combine SCHOTT ED glass with a compact, waterproof housing to create a versatile optic offering image quality and a streamlined profile worthy of the Carl Zeiss name.

The Terra ED is the third line of binoculars to expand the Wetzlar optics manufacturer's catalogue. They complement a range that already includes the popular Conquest and the legendary Victory. The engineers at Carl Zeiss Sport Optics designed the Terra ED for birdwatchers and hunters who are looking for affordable equipment while retaining the qualities of a Zeiss optic.

The SCHOTT ED lenses are designed to maximize light transmission and deliver a high-contrast image. Thanks to the adoption of Schmidt-Pechan roof prisms and a lightweight composite chassis, these binoculars weigh 725 g. The Terra ED are filled with nitrogen, which prevents fogging and makes them waterproof to a depth of about 3 meters.

This model offers an incredible observing experience thanks to its 10x magnification and its comfortable 15mm eye relief. The short close-focus distance (from 1.6 m) allows you to get very close to the bird or subject being observed. These binoculars also offer excellent ergonomics thanks to their central focusing wheel and twist-up eyecups, undoubtedly making the Terra ED the best mid-range binocular on the market.
