The Tasmanian Tiger TT Base Pack 30 redefines versatility for short- and medium-duration missions. This "Top Loader" backpack stands out with a base capacity of 30 litres, dramatically expandable up to 52 litres thanks to its innovative snow skirt and height-adjustable lid. Made from Cordura® 700 deniers, it offers the perfect balance between uncompromising structural resistance and contained weight, meeting the demands of elite units as well as bushcraft enthusiasts seeking a platform capable of adapting to carried equipment volume.

The architecture of this model is based on extreme modularity: the lid is fully removable, allowing the pack to be transformed into a clean "Roll-Top" model for increased agility. The Padded Back carrying system, combined with a removable hip belt (which can be used separately as a lightweight Warrior Belt), ensures optimal load transfer and superior walking comfort. The interior features a large Velcro® MOLLE panel for custom organization, while the exterior is generously equipped with MOLLE attachment points on the front and sides for adding extra pouches or technical accessories.

USAGE TIPS AND VERSATILITY
The TT Base Pack 30 is the ultimate "chameleon" pack. Its ability to nearly double its volume makes it ideal for missions where you depart with a standard load but return with additional equipment or trophies. The side compression straps keep the pack profile slim when volume is reduced, preventing any bouncing. It is fully compatible with hydration bladders and features antenna or cable ports, making it an excellent radio or technical patrol pack.

Expert advice:

To maximize comfort in the 52L configuration, we recommend placing the densest items (ammunition, water, rations) as close as possible to the back panel and reserving the expandable upper section for light items such as rainwear or sleeping bags. If you use the pack in urban environments or for rapid vehicle deployment, remove the lid and hip belt: you will get a compact, streamlined pack that does not restrict movement. Regular brushing of the zippers and the Cordura will be enough to maintain its mechanical and visual properties over the long term.
