The protective housing ICU CLOM SteelProtect Cam 5 has been custom-designed to fully enclose and secure your ICU Cam 5. Made from high-quality robust steel, this armored casing provides a virtually indestructible physical barrier against external aggression while preserving an ideal aesthetic integration into the forest environment.

The design of this protective shell has been carefully engineered so as not to alter your device's performance. Ultra-precise cutouts fully preserve the field of view of the lens, the detection zone of the PIR sensor as well as the entirety of the infrared LED panel to guarantee perfect night shots. In addition, access for the 4G/LTE antenna is preserved to maintain optimal reception and transmission quality, even when the camera is locked inside its metal armor.

This security system offers maximum mounting flexibility to adapt to all terrain configurations. It includes specific passages at the rear allowing the use of a standard mounting strap, a Python-type anti-theft cable or screws for a direct and permanent anchoring to a tree. The front face is locked simply using a standard padlock (not included), preventing any unauthorized access to the SD card or the internal components of your camera. It's the essential accessory to let your equipment operate securely in the most exposed areas.

Expert advice:

When installing your SteelProtect Cam 5, combine the use of an articulated Python-type security cable to wrap around the tree with two lag screws at the back of the housing. The screws will prevent the casing from rotating or being torn off by a wild boar rubbing against the trunk, while the cable will definitively discourage prowlers. For absolute discretion, apply a few pieces of local bark or moss to the sides of the steel box to break up the straight lines of the metal.
