Lightweight logistical and tactical plastic case for: Ammunition (small, medium and large arms), pyrotechnics, explosives, countermeasures, flares and weapons, etc... This allows the storage of ammunition, ammunition storage, cartridge box, storage and preservation, hardware, tools, hunting scope, rifles, pistols, valuables, geocaching and hunting accessories. The new lightweight and innovative ammunition cases from PPD (LWAC®) are based on a newly patented PPD design and on raw material resins specially developed by PPD meeting all military requirements and standards.

The advantages are numerous, but the most important is the direct cost reduction thanks to the following elements

• A reduced weight, more than 68 % lighter than existing steel boxes. For example, the packaging weight of 1 000 000 rounds of 12,7 caliber (0,50) will be reduced by 16.5 tonnes!
• Improved stacking capacity, allowing cross-stacking at 90⁰ and vertical stacking
• Improved thermal capacity, with reduced heat transfer
• Prepared for integrated RFID labels for tracking and control.
• Low noise during handling and contact with steel surfaces
• No risk of sparks
• Fully compatible with existing steel boxes
• Fully recyclable / reusable
• Choice of multiple colors, e.g. color coding according to type of ammunition.

The LWAC is perfect for 12,7mm/0,50Cal ammunition and smaller. It has a flat bottom for better storage, which allows you to place ammunition cartons in which it will not tend to tilt.
